The ruins of Pumamarca are approximately 2.5 hours from the Inca town of Ollantaytambo and is one of the most popular destinations in the Sacred Valley. The area is very interesting because it is the place where the Spaniards suffered a defeat in their confrontations with the Incas. Pumamarca is a fortress built on a steep hillside, which was built to control the entrance to the Sacred Valley of the nearby jungle. After a demanding ascent, it is rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view and the knowledge of the visit a place known only to a few tourists. After visiting Pumamarca, you will spend the night in Aguas Calientes and get up early to visit Machu Picchu.
In the morning you will be picked up at your hotel with our private transport to the town of Ollantaytambo. From there, for the 30-minute lapse in our transport, you will arrive at the foot of the archaeological site of Pumamarca, the trek to the Pumamarca site begins. The walk is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours from Pumamarca to Ollantaytambo. Once outside the crowded tourist center, you will immediately find yourself in another world, a world of tranquility, old streets with houses built on Inca foundations, patios where chicha (corn beer) is served and houses of the local people who still live on platforms Incas, for which he continues to use the Inca channels to irrigate their crops and provide sustenance for their families. Next, beautiful nature, small farms and splendid Inca terraces will appear on the road; It is a place that only a few tourists visit. Along the way, you will make a stop to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in a beautiful setting. Once you arrive in Ollantaytambo, you can explore the place with your guide, who will tell you the history of the area. Once the tour ends, you will have enough time to explore the city of Ollantaytambo with its majestic archaeological site and temple of the sun located in the heart of the Inca people. Once the tour is finished, you can take the train connection to Machu Picchu or return to your hotel.

On the last day, you will first have breakfast in your hotel and then the first bus at 5:00 a.m. To Machu Picchu.
